I have been doing business with Wayne at Rockaway for more than forty years. I have referred some thirty to forty music industry executives and friends to Rockaway to sell their collections. Not one, I repeat - Not One - has ever come back with anything other than glowing comments and results. I have found Rockaway to be the most honest and most knowledgeable company re: Rock 'n' Roll memorabilia and music of the many other companies that I have dealt with.

Gary and Wayne Johnson of Rockaway Records are the best of the best. World class experts in rare records and music collectibles, as honest as it comes, and a pleasure to deal with. It’s been my pleasure to have known and dealt with them for more than thirty years—and I look forward to many more years of doing so. I can’t recommend them more highly.

JEFF GOLD - RECORDMECCA.COM
A number of years ago as I was downsizing, it broke my heart to sell my vinyl collection which started back in 1954 and grew to almost 85,000 albums. A close friend recommended Wayne at Rockaway as honest and dedicated to the music. Well, he exceeded all my expectations from day one. His remuneration was more than fair, but what made him a real mensch was coming back a few times with an additional check for records that sold beyond his expectations. When I left Santa Monica and had to sell my nearly 40,000 cd's, he was wonderful once again. I can't give higher superlatives to Wayne & Rockaway. He cares...he knows...he respects.

LENNY BRONSTEIN - HEAVY LENNY PROMOTIONS, LAS VEGAS
I started in the field of music memorabilia collecting back in 1981. It was then I first met and started what has now become a lifetime and wonderfully long business and friendship relationship with Rockaway Records. I could say so much more in terms of positive overlay, but I'll simply say they have been the single best company I've ever dealt with period. They maintain the highest integrity and their level of service is unequaled. They are, and have always been a company who completely understands every aspect of what we do. Nobody does it better.

Gary Johnson is the creme de la creme, state of the art, & guru of honesty & fair play when the subject has anything to do with LPs, 45s & memorabilia . Here is one example. I have sent many deejays & radio friends to Gary . They were looking to sell a few items. Gary 's pricing was SO FAIR & HONEST, they sold him everything. They called me & thanked me up the wazoo. Examples like this have been going on for more than 25 years--OVER & OVER again. Rockaway Records is HAPPENING!! Thanks for taking care of people the way that you do---ME INCLUDED!!

What I can say about Rockaway is that they've been my go-to dealers for well over two decades. Not only have I always found them to be fair and honest; but, after recommending them to innumerable friends, I've received nothing but thanks. I continue to recommend them unconditionally.

Someone once said that seeing Jonathan Richman in performance was as much fun as you could have with your clothes on. Well I would rate visiting Rockaway Records equally so. As a visiting Australian I’ve been buying collectable records in the US since 1980. I’ve worked in some of Sydney’s most legendary music emporiums so I know a thing or two about what constitutes a great store.
Rockaway has all the required attributes: Extensive knowledge, Ever-changing stock, fantastic personable service. There’s no attitude in respect to whatever your tastes may be, and whether buying or selling, prices are both informed and fair. Whenever I visit the states, Rockaway is always on the itinerary. And When I can’t get there in person, I scope their website and discogs listing the packing division sets the standard that all others should Aspire to - on’s precious purchases always arrive in great shape, and are generally better than their original descriptions. Rockaway truly is second to none in their fields.

BEATLES
Fully Signed With The Beatles
1963 mono original UK LP cover only (no record). Back cover has been autographed by all four band members: Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr. Each has signed beautifully in a thick black felt tip marker, resulting in signatures that are both extremely large and bold. Each autograph varies in size between 5" and 6" long! These signatures are twice the size of Beatles autographs normally found on an album cover.
Paul McCartney also inscribed “To Kalina love from The Beatles” on the front cover. This album cover was signed by The Beatles on January 12, 1964, following the band's performance on the ATV television show "Sunday Night at the The London Palladium", which was sort of the equivalent of The Ed Sullivan Show here in the US. The album was signed at a party at singer Alma Cogan's house after the show, for British journalist Peter Noble and his wife Marianne Stone, obtained for their daughter Kalina.
There is a photo of Ringo Starr holding this very album, along with a “Please Please Me” that The Beatles signed for Kalina’s sister Kara, shortly after both were signed by The Beatles. It is extremely rare and desirable to have a photo of one or more of the members of The Beatles holding an item that they have signed. The original photo is not included, only a low resolution scan.
This is one of the most visually impactful and impressive Beatles signed albums in existence, due to the size and boldness of the signatures on it – which can be clearly seen from a great distance away.
Although this cover is not in great condition, most of the wear and tear appears on the front. The back cover has some tanning from age, but the large, bold signatures are unaffected and this would look stunning framed!
Includes letter of authenticity from Frank Caiazzo, the world's foremost Beatles signature expert, as well as a Rockaway Records LOA.
