1965 mono pink label original LP with orange cover. The more common version of this album has a yellow cover with orange labels. The orange cover version (which has a distributor address on back) is much rarer and is usually found with yellow labels which have "Hamburg 1961" at top. However, this is only one of two known examples of this LP with pink labels and a completely different label design!

At the bottom of the labels is text that reads "Recorded Live By The Beatles, Hamburg Germany 1961." This album consists of only studio recordings (not live) and so perhaps this label design was scrapped and replaced with the later one which has no mention of live recordings. The matrix numbers ("BM-69 A" and "BM-69 B") and the pressing ring in the labels match identically to the yellow label "Hamburg 1961" version.

Vinyl is not in great condition, but plays well with some background noise, but no skips. The orange cover is in excellent condition with some yellowing on back. Includes letter of authenticity from renowned Beatles expert, author and dealer Perry Cox.
