And that's not always the easiest conclusion to arrive at. Even the most respected autograph experts don’t always agree with each other, so sometimes we require two or three outside experts to agree on the authenticity before we will buy it. Second, and this is particularly true at this time, quality autographs sell fast. Many sell the same day we list them!
A word to the wise, though. Many autographs for sale on the open market are counterfeit. As their demand and value has increased, so, unfortunately, has the number of fakes, so beware and only buy from trusted and reliable sources.
