BEATLES
1964 Autographed Dezo Hoffman Photograph
1964 original 14 ½” x 11 ½” Dezo Hoffmann ‘seated collarless suit pose’ photograph which has been signed by John Lennon and George Harrison in black ballpoint pen, Paul McCartney in blue ballpoint pen, and Ringo Starr in green ballpoint pen, which has lightened somewhat over time. These signatures date from March or April of 1964, and all are excellent examples from that time period.
Paul has added “love” before signing and “XXX” after, and George Harrison has inscribed “To Louisea lovea fromea Georgea Harrisonea”. There is seemingly a second Paul McCartney autograph across his body, but that is a printed signature which was applied in the manufacture of the photograph.
The autographs on this photo were obtained by actor Norman Rossington, who appeared in the Hard Day’s Night movie as the Beatles manager “Norm”.
Photo was torn in four places, but has been professionally repaired. The tears only show mostly on the back and would look fantastic when framed. In better condition, a Beatles signed photo this large, especially this one with the most iconic Beatles image, would sell for $25,000-$30,000.
Includes letter of authenticity from Frank Caiazzo, the world's foremost Beatles signature expert, as well as a Rockaway Records LOA.
