This award is guaranteed to be 100% genuine unlike many awards on the open market, especially those presented to the artist. All parts are original, as this award has never been opened or restored.

Record Plant Studios was the New York City recording studio where this album was recorded in July and August of 1973 and released on October 29th in the US.

Amazingly, this award actually plays side one of the Mind Games album matching the label. Very few awards play the same record, but this actually does since the award manufacturer, New York Frame & Picture Co.was supplied a metal part (master or mother) presumably from Capitol Records, Apple's distributor.

Overall, this award is in excellent condition except for some normal scratches in the wooden frame and two drill holes where it was originally attached to a wall at Record Plant. Also the original frame shop sticker remains on the back paper, though some pieces around the edges are missing.
