Ultra rare "Advance Promotional Issue" of 2020 limited-edition yellow-with-black-dots vinyl LP with textured cover, issued by Third Man Records. The commercial edition is very rare in itself as it was limited to only 333 copies and is pressed on re-ground vinyl created using 33 recycled copies of "McCartney" and "McCartney II" mixed with yellow vinyl in a "dice pattern". This special "regrind" pressing was the very first version of McCartney's third self-titled solo album available for purchase. It sold-out almost immediately upon being made available, and is now extremely rare. This advance pressing is even more scarce, with only about two dozen examples made. These copies have covers marked "AP" where the edition number is normally written on back. Also included is a two-sided, six panel poster which measures roughly 24" x 36". The front full-color photo montage on the poster combines the images from the three gatefold inner designs. The back is black-and-white, and reproduces the "McCartney III Made In Rockdown" poster included with the red US limited edition LP. This poster is exclusive to this Third Man pressing.
