WHAT POSTERS ARE WE INTERESTED IN?
CONCERT POSTERS
(Posters that were printed before the concert and used to announce the concert)
50s and 60s “boxing style” concert posters by collectible artists.
Vintage San Francisco psychedelic concert posters, if they are 1st printings.
Punk concert posters from the 70s to early 80s and Grunge concert posters from the 80s and 90s.
Later concert posters may be of interest if they are from the early days of an artist's career.
PROMOTIONAL POSTERS
(Posters that were printed to promote an artist or group and/or their record)
Promo posters from the 50s to the early 70s by collectible artists.
Many promo posters from the mid-70s to the present were made in large quantities and are worth very little, but there are also many exceptions. For example, Punk and Metal promo posters are generally more desirable than mainstream Rock posters.
And pre-fame promo posters are usually more desirable than later ones.
COMMERCIAL POSTERS
Most posters that were made to be sold are usually worth much less than Concert or Promo posters. We do buy some 60s-80s commercial posters by collectible artists. We have little interest in later posters, unless they were very limited or signed by the artist.
WHICH ARTISTS' POSTERS ARE WE INTERESTED IN?
There are many! They include, but are definitely NOT limited to: Beatles, Sex Pistols, Madonna, White Stripes, Nirvana, Metallica, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Prince, Beach Boys, Elvis Presley, Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Clash, U2, Iron Maiden, Radiohead, Michael Jackson and Frank Zappa. These are just some of the more collectible artists we deal with.
A COUPLE NOTES ABOUT CONDITION
Rare posters in truly Near Mint condition can go for many times more than the same ones in Good condition, and we pay accordingly.
Also, more common, less desirable posters that we might otherwise pass on might be of interest to us if they're in Near Mint condition.
