Magical Mystery Tour

1967 metal acetate of 11-song stereo LP released by Capitol Records in the US on November 27th. This US compilation album was not released in the UK until 1976. This acetate, which originally belonged to Voyle Gilmore, Capitol's vice-president, plays the same as the released LP but with a short snippet of "Hello Goodbye" added at the beginning of side two.

The LP catalog number listed on the labels is "ST 2835". However, before the album was released, it was corrected to "SMAL 2835". This prefix designates this release as a stereo issue with one record and a booklet.

Also included is the lacquer's original Transco die-cut sleeve which has mastering notes handwritten by recording engineer Bill (William) Miller, signed as "W.H.M.".

Labels are in beautiful condition. Vinyl has a fair amount of light scuffs, but plays well, but with some moderate background noise and light ticks.

100% guaranteed authentic acetate, not fake like many acetates offered online.
