MAS-3375. Super rare mono issue of 1971 LP. "Monaural" printed on Apple Inc. labels. No unique cover was issued, though this copy includes a standard gatefold cover which has a promo hole at the top right corner (spine faded). 

Although not indicated on the labels, this LP was pressed in a very small quantity for promotional use only. It is believed that these were sent to AM radio stations only. Also, this mono version is not simply a "fold-down" of the stereo. It is a unique mono mix, which done by recording engineer Eirik 'The Norwegian" Wangberg, as commissioned by Paul McCartney. 

This genuine issue was pressed by Capitol in Los Angeles, as indicated by the asterisk in the trail-off area. Handwritten matrix numbers read "MAS-1-3375-F-1" on side one and "MAS-2-3375-F-1" on side two.

There are less than ten copies of this rarity known to exist! Although not in the best condition, this copy is about half of what a nice one would sell for today. "B-20" written on labels. Vinyl plays well, but with occasional pops and background noise, but no skips on our turntable.
